Midvaal Community Radio

MCR is based in the Riverstone Mall, Midvaal, Gauteng, South Africa. As a proud member of the Midvaal Chamber of Commerce, we strive to serve the Local Community of the Midvaal Municipal Area. MCR currently has 72 000 listeners in the Midvaal through our generic website. We also have an additional listenership of more than 200 000 subscribers throughout Gauteng, Free state and surrounding areas through our broadcasting partner Smartcall Technology Solutions (STS). MCR radio plays nostalgic music, ranging from the early 60’s to the latest hits. We broadcast to listeners that fall within the LSM, 7 to 10 demographic areas, which indicates a higher economic status among our listeners. Further to receiving great support from the Local Communities, MCR is also well aligned with the Local Municipality and in so doing we engage in many local events and charity drives with the private sector as well as the Executive Mayor, Mr. Peter Teixeira. Through long standing relationships with our current advertisers and sponsors, we at MCR assure you of our best attention at all time.
